Heidi went to high school in Lacombe. She is a certified personal small group trainer with an interest in posture and range of motion. She's an obstacle course race specialist, and certified with Precision Nutrition Level 1.

She decided to work in Optometry because she's loves working with and helping others and when the opportunity presented itself to get into vision therapy, she was fascinated and jumped on it.

While she has no former optometric specific background, she has been able to apply her posture and range of motion and musculoskeletal knowledge to her training as a therapist. She had worked in the finance industry for 12 years and has been coaching group fitness for 4 years. She grew up in Central Alberta. Outside of work she enjoys obstacle course racing (OCR), running, fitness, hiking, snowboarding, and camping.

She comes from a large extended family. She's the youngest with four older brothers. She has many nieces and nephews. She has recently adopted two kittens. Camping has always been a big thing for her family, and they still make plans to get all the families together to camp when they can.
